I am an Aberdeenshire based Photographer with over 30 years experience in the profession. After many years serving as a photographer in the Royal Air Force and then running a successful wedding and portrait business I have turned my wealth of experience into photographing my passions, the horse and the natural world.

My photographs capture the essential pleasure of being with horses; in that it brings us in contact with their unique elements of grace, elegance, beauty, spirit and power. My images illustrate the breathtaking splendour of the country we live in, and so often take for granted as we hurry along with our hectic lives. If you just take a moment, STOP and really LOOK you will be amazed at what you have been missing.


One of my most treasured memories was the day I approached one of our horses in the field, he was lying down and allowed me to sit down next to him, as I stroked him he rested his head in my lap. I felt so honoured that he placed such trust in me, an unforgettable moment in time. I just wish I had a photograph……..
